It all started when friends asked to borrow a few games for their backyard wedding…

We loved how the games had us interacting, and breaking the ice, with other guests - we made friends without any of the small talk! We decide to harness this experience and create Knotty Games. We now have a game rental fleet and have had the privilege of participating in countless events around the Greater Vancouver Area - weddings, birthdays, corporate parties, park BBQs and more!

All our games are hand built and thoughtfully designed so they’re look beautiful at your event. They’re crowd favourites and will have your guests putting down their phones and engaging in the party.

Meet the Creators & Operators

I’m Jess, that’s Dan, and together we make up the Knotty Games team.

Jess’s background in events & recreation, and handy-man Dan’s passion for wood working led us to create Knotty Games. Dan builds the games (Jess helps), and Jess runs the business.

This female owned & operated small business in Vancouver BC is just getting started! Originally a Covid project, now a fully operational business ready to serve you and your party guests. We are heading into our second season of game rentals and are planning to increase the size of our game rental fleet this summer!
