Mina and Nadim’s Joyful Wedding at Hume Park
With its open field, leafy willow trees and welcoming picnic shelter, Hume Park gave Mina and Nadim a beautiful setting for their wedding in picturesque New Westminster.
The game zone gave guests an easy way to catch up, meet and play.
Vibes Moodmakers dressed up the simple picnic shelter with colourful details that made the space feel unique to the couple. Guests could gather under the shelter and still move easily between the tables, the games and the rest of the park. Steamworks Food Truck catered the wedding, and Earnest Ice Cream handled dessert. It’s hard to go wrong with ice cream at a park wedding!
Knotty Games filled a large section of the grassy field, turning it into a natural extension of the celebration.

What stood out most was the mix of ages. Kids, adults and seniors all got involved. People played together, watched from the sidelines and laughed through more than a few competitive moments.
A quick round of Axe Throw always hits the target
The open field gave everyone enough room to move between the games without crowding the shelter. It also meant the whole area became part of the wedding, rather than leaving the lawn sitting empty in the background.
